Our Thankful Tree....

We made a "Thankful" tree during Family Home Evening on Monday. We ended up having so many things we are thankful for that we couldn't fit all the leaves on the tree. Some of my favorite leaves are the family, the gospel, our freedom, our friends, Disneyland, Utah (as in football), every sport, our jobs, our health, etc.... I really believe that if you ever feel down, count your blessings and you will realize how lucky you are!!

From the Funny Papers ...

Oh my gosh! I wish they really would invent this thing. If you've ever called my house when my kids are home or I have just worked, then I bet you wish I had one too!

From the Funny Papers...

Does this remind you of anyone?!

Halloween

My two Minnies!

Check out our cute kids on Halloween! We had such a fun holiday. We started with Trunk or Treat at the church, and then the kids went Trick or Treating. We had WAY too much candy.

What we do in line when we're bored...

I may have to delete this blog after my kids see it!

The AWESOME POSSUM!!!!

Funny story ... This happened to us in So Cal. We came out one morning to get in the car. Jason was back in the room doing something like fixing his hair. Connor went on his side of the car to get in and started screaming there was a dead rat on the street. So we all screamed! We sent our brave little boy back to check it out and this time he said it was "the animal that pretends to be dead". Sure enough, it was a possum pretending to be dead. We all screamed! By this time, Jason has made it outside to check out the screaming. He is giving us an update from the other side of the car. The possum was breathing and laying perfectly still pretending to be dead. (More screaming!) So Connor took a picture to record evidence of the only possum we have seen in the wild. And yes it is true, they do pretend to be dead!

Sea World

We had so much fun at Sea World. Highlights were seeing Shamu, the dolphins, the sharks, and the star fish. And of course San Diego has the perfect climate and is absolutely beautiful. After Sea World we hit the beach to hang out and take some pictures.
